Conference Location

Access

30 km north of Brno,
150 km north of Vienna (airport),
200 km east of Prague (airport).

Transport will be organized from Brno to conference center on Sunday and back on Thursday afternoon. Access to Brno is possible by all means of transport except boat (train, bus, aircraft from a few cities (Prague, London, Moscow, and Barcelona), taxi, and car).

Climate

Conference venue is situated in altitude of about 330 m above sea level. In April temperature is usually just above zero in the morning, afternoons are usually warmer – over 20 ˚C.


Surrounding

Hotel is located about 2 km from city in countryside at the border of Moravian Carst. The most famous Czech caves Punkevni and Macocha are located about 4 km from hotel. Other caves are in walking distance, too. The chateau Rajec is located about 10 km to the north. Besides those already mentioned, there are many other interesting places in wider surroundings.
